SALT CREEK APPAREL
One graphic system. Fifty states. Hundreds
of SKUs. The Salt Creek Apparel 2019
Collection required a single design language
flexible enough to serve an entire country,
covering ladies, men, kids, and performance
lines, while feeling specific to every
location it represented.
ROLE:
CREATIVE DIRECTION
DESIGN
PRODUCTION
The challenge wasn't just design, it was scale.
Each state variation required unique location
names, regional icons, and approved design
elements swapped in without losing consistency
or introducing errors.
To solve it, a custom Photoshop batch automation
was built around spreadsheet-driven data: approved
copy and icons loaded automatically, applied across
every variation, with manual adjustments only where
spacing and kerning required a human eye. What could
have been hundreds of hours of repetitive production
became a repeatable pipeline. It was automated design
workflow before that was a common phrase.
ONE DESIGN SYSTEM.
FIFTY STATES.
BUILT TO SCALE
WITHOUT BREAKING.
The result was a collection that shipped across the
United States and Canada, consistent in craft, specific
in detail, and produced at a scale that manual methods
couldn't have matched. The same principle that drove
this pipeline in 2019 drives the work at JMRENDER
today: build the system once, then let it work.

BURLY BOYS CATERING CO.
Burly Boys Catering Company came with a
color palette and a clear conviction: the
brand needed to feel classic, timeless, and
built to last. Everything else was open. The
brief was simple — a logo that worked in
black and white, held up across every
surface, and let the food speak loudest.
ROLE:
CREATIVE DIRECTION
BRAND IDENTITY
DESIGN
The design direction leaned into the tension at
the heart of the brand. The logo is formal and
composed, built on circular badge construction
with a script anchor and arched typesetting that
references decades of American food and craft culture.
But Burly Boys isn't precious about it. Hats,
aprons, signage, and stickers carry the mark clean,
while their menus go full DIY — a serif-heavy,
photocopied punk zine aesthetic that deliberately
subverts the polish of the logo. The contrast is
the point. The brand can be both, and that duality
is what makes it feel real.
A LOGO BUILT
TO LAST.
A BRAND THAT
STAYS RELATABLE.
The result is a brand identity that scales from
embroidered hats to event signage without losing its
character. Clean enough for a catered event, raw
enough for a backyard cookout. That range was the
goal from the start, and the complexity of the food
has always done the rest.

AI PRODUCTION PIPELINE
An automated content production pipeline
built from scratch for an unnamed YouTube
project currently in development. Every
component, from scripting to scene generation
to voice, was designed to run locally, on one
machine, under one creative direction. The goal:
publish-ready video content produced by
a system, not a team.
ROLE:
CREATIVE DIRECTION
CHARACTER DESIGN
PIPELINE ENGINEERING
The pipeline covers the full production chain.
A custom script and topic generation system feeds
a scene and prompt generator built for AI image
models. Voice delivery runs through a locally
hosted synthesis pipeline. All image and video
generation runs through ComfyUI, orchestrating a
rotating stack of models on local hardware.
Character consistency, the hardest problem in
AI-driven content, is handled through custom LoRA
training using open source standards like
ai-toolkit and musubi-tuner, with dedicated
character models trained for both Krea 2 and Wan 2.2.
Animation splits by purpose: Wan 2.2 drives
dynamic scenes, while SCAIL-2 handles the lead
character's gestures during narration segments
using motion reference capture. The character
herself was designed for the medium, with a
distinct silhouette built to render consistently
across thousands of generations.
DESIGN THE
CHARACTER.
BUILD THE PIPELINE.
LET IT RUN.
The pipeline is in active development, with character
LoRA training and animation integration as the current
focus. It represents the core of what JMRENDER is
built around: design craft and generative AI production
working as one system. The channel launches when
the pipeline says it's ready.
